Zhenhua 30-wheel Steel Wire Rope Maintenance and Lubrication Project
The Zhenhua 30 is the world's largest crane vessel, with a maximum lifting capacity of 12,000 tons. It undertakes key national projects such as bridge construction, offshore wind power installation, and sunken ship salvage. Its operation scenarios cover complex environments such as distant seas, high humidity and high salt. The ship is equipped with multiple sets of ultra-long and heavy-load steel wire ropes (each with a length exceeding 500 meters and a diameter of up to 60mm), which serve as the core load-bearing components. The operational stability of the steel wire ropes directly determines the progress of the project and the safety of the operation.
Previously, Zhenhua 30 Rounds adopted the traditional manual maintenance mode, facing multiple industry pain points and urgently needing a professional and efficient intelligent maintenance solution.
- The operation risk is extremely high: Manual oiling work needs to be carried out in a high-altitude and sea shaking environment, which is prone to fall and collision accidents. Moreover, the high salt spray environment further aggravates the safety hazards of the operation.
- Uneven lubrication effect: Manual oiling relies on experience, making it difficult to cover the core and gaps of the steel wire rope, which accelerates local wear and shortens the service life.
- Low maintenance efficiency: Manual maintenance of a single steel wire rope requires the collaboration of multiple people and takes several days, seriously affecting the ship's operation schedule.
- Environmental compliance pressure: Traditional lubricating grease contains heavy metal components and is prone to leakage during Marine operations, polluting the Marine environment and not meeting the environmental protection standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
Based on the special working conditions and requirements of Zhenhua 30 wheels, Dexter has tailored an integrated maintenance solution of "intelligent detection + automatic lubrication"
Preliminary adaptation and R&D: In response to the high-humidity and high-salt environment at sea and the specifications of ultra-long and heavy-load steel wire ropes, the "automatic lubrication and maintenance machine" was customized and optimized. The anti-corrosion shell and sealing system were upgraded to ensure stable operation under the shaking conditions of ships.
Core equipment deployment: The self-developed "machine replacing human" intelligent lubrication equipment is adopted, integrating a precise oiling module and real-time detection sensors. It can automatically follow the running trajectory of the steel wire rope, achieving 360° lubrication without dead corners.
Environmentally friendly material compatibility: Self-developed environmentally friendly grease is selected, free of heavy metals and volatile pollutants, meeting environmental protection standards and avoiding Marine pollution.
Standardized operation process: ① On-site survey and positioning of the wire rope direction and fixed nodes; ② Modular installation and commissioning of equipment to adapt to the existing equipment layout of the ship; ③ Intelligently set the oiling parameters (oil quantity, frequency, pressure).
